The GTN-P is the free central database for permafrost monitoring parameters. It is the instrument which provides data, metadata and information about the relevant parameters of a specific site. The database obeys the international ISO-compliant standards as well as it follows open-access policies in line with the IPY data policy. For permafrost scientists and modelers, but also for the scientific community, policy makers and the general publicity, archive as well as real-time data as far as feasible are offered.
