Geoserver

geoserver-logo

Geoserver is an open-source server for sharing geospatial data. The map styles can be cast (in size and colors) in relation to any variable, for example the style can be defined by the borehole's depths. The borehole layer can be overlapped to any other geographical information (for example the permafrost zones extent and/or vegetation zones extent).

The GTN-P Data Management System use Geoserver in order to distribute geospatial layers extracted from the database. A simple output has been cast for this version of the system. Future developments will improve and developed the geospatial information distributed,  by adding variables and time parameters for instance.
