Der Datenbericht des GTN-Ps wird durch die Einbeziehung der nationalen Ansprechpartner, die durch ihr Land ernannt wurden, erleichtert. Diese Personen sind in Monitoringprojekten eingebunden und vertreten die nationalen Interessen bei der Entscheidungsfindung auf GTN-P Koordinationsebene.
Auszug aus den GTN-P-Strategien und dem Umsetzungsplan hinsichtlich der Ernennung und der Aufgaben der nationalen Ansprechpartner:
- Nationale Korrespondenten werden vom jeweiligen Land ernannt.
- Nationale Korrespondenten unterstützen die Durchführung der GTN-P-Strategie in ihrem Land.
- Nationale Korrespondenten sind für die Koordinierung der Datensammlung und die Berichterstattung durch die involvierten Wissenschaftler zuständig.
- Nationale Korrespondenten pflegen enge Kontakte zu den einschlägigen Institutionen und Förderorganisationen in ihrem Land sowie zur IPA auf nationaler Ebene.
